Our Services

Fibre Services

Fibre Services

Fibre Optic Services (FTTC) are increasingly essential for high-speed communications, such as cable TV and high-speed internet services. Fibre optic cables provide endless expansion capability as they are able to carry more signals than traditional network copper cable and telephone lines. Our FTTC services offer speeds up to 80MB

CommsNet Solutions offer a full range of Fibre Services including Installation, Terminating and Network setup.

ADSL & ADSL2+ Services

ADSL & ADSL2+ Services

ADSL offers speeds of up to 8Mbps (Megabits per second) downstream and 0.5Mbps upstream (0.8mbps on business lines).

The technology is inexpensive, fast and easy to install and reliable, although performance is subject to distance from the local exchange and the quality of internal wiring. Each connection is fixed to a specific telephone line.

ADSL2+ offers download speeds at up to 24Mbps and uploads at up to 14Mbps, it also supports port bonding (linking several lines together for faster speeds) and has an improved range over ADSL.
Both ADSL and ADSL2+ are unmanaged broadband services, meaning bandwidth is not guaranteed and variable subject to distance from the Exchange and high Internet usage times.

Leased Line Services

Leased Line Services

A leased line is a private communication links between a customer’s premise’s and the internet or or a private communication link between customers site(s). Unlike traditional data/telephony lines it does not have a telephone number, each side of the line being permanently connected to the other.

Leased lines can be used for telephonedata or Internet services.

Typically, leased lines are used by businesses to connect geographically distant offices. Unlike dial-up connections, a leased line is always active. The fee for the connection is a fixed monthly rate. The primary factors affecting the monthly fee are distance between end points and the speed of the circuit. Because the connection does not carry anybody else’s communications, the carrier can assure a given level of quality.

An Internet leased line is a premium internet connectivity product, delivered over fibre normally, which is dedicated and provides uncontended, symmetrical speeds, full-duplex. It is also known as an ethernet leased line, DIA line, data circuit or private circuit.
